The mountain goat and bighorn sheep range in this area. However, they are available on a draw basis only. Quantities and regulations vary from year to year. Specific information can be obtained from the Idaho Fish and Game Commission.

Sheep or Goat Hunt: September 1 - September 14

Each pack trip hunt begins the morning of the dates listed for each specified hunt. Late arrival will shorten your trip, since all starting dates are reserved. Complete instructions will be sent upon receipt of deposit. We spare nothing to make your trip pleasant, enjoyable and successful. We want you to get game and hunt in areas where you will be most likely to find it. By early November, snow in the mountains may force the game into the ranch area which is completely surrounded by National Forest. The road will be closed and it is unlikely that there will be any other hunters. We will be able to hunt from the ranch in all directions.
