About Us
The Diamond D Ranch is a family owned and operated business in the heart of the Salmon River Mountains. Completely cut off from the power grid, electricity is provided by our very own hydro-electric generator. Communication to the ranch is made easy since the advent of the satellite phone and satellite based internet.
Hosts Tom and Linda Demorest invite you to the Diamond D Ranch for friendly hospitality, excellent fishing, beautiful hiking, horse trails, and fabulous food.
Kara Demorest is the Guest Manager and will make sure your stay is exactly as you desire, as she leads the way on most trail rides and hikes. Kara's goal is to make your experience at the Diamond D one that you will never forget.
Dana Demorest, Ranch Manager, is pure magic with the horses. There are about 40 head of horses at the ranch of all sizes, styles and personalities. Dana is trained in veterinary medicine as well and keeps the stock healthy. Dana also keeps the fields producing hay, the hot water hot, and the lights lit!
